Nicolas Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisão Sabóia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brazil Academy's Nicolas Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Vítor de Azevedo in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to Ibirama Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Luís Eduardo Amorim hit a great ball. After 43 played minutes, Brazil Academy's Paulo José de Sena shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Conrado Linares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brazil Academy reached it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luisão Sabóia to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Rubinho Azevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Conrado Linares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Brazil Academy booed when Ibirama Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agnaldo Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo José de Sena, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 61stth minute of the game Rubinho Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ibirama Futebol Clube's Conrado Linares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Conrado Linares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rubinho Azevedo went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Brazil Academy's Nicolas Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Vítor de Azevedo in the 76th minute of play. Rubinho Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rubinho Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado Linares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rubinho Azevedo went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. In the 91st minute Rubinho Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Rubinho Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Conrado Linares. Ibirama Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Ibirama Futebol Clube's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
