Vicente Lara had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Nuno Correia's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuno Correia got free with Vicente Lara in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute, Templários MZC's Olívio Souto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Germano Custódio to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Olívio Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Pedro Luís Capixaba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vicente Lara. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Luís Capixaba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Belmiro Pombal kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. If Olívio Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. Templários MZC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
