Spectators: 7746 (Terracing: 5811, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Claudinho Valle started the match with the kick off. When Hudson Chaves fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's protests and gave Hudson Chaves a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to TRICOSHOW F.CLUB getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Hudson Chaves hit a great ball. Vicente Lara acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 4th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ramón Branco. Benjamin de Alcântara's late challenge caught a TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin de Alcântara helped the player get up and apologised. After 8 played minutes Parfrente FC got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin de Alcântara. In the 13th minute of the match Ramón Branco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vicente Lara showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Murilo Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Murilo Alcântara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Murilo Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Vicente Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Gomes in the 17th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's goalkeeper Vicente Lara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Murilo Alcântara. In the 21st minute, Murilo Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Belmiro Pombal was substituted for Claudinho Valle. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, André Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but André Pontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldo Chaves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vicente Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Gomes in the 35th minute of play. After 36 played minutes TRICOSHOW F.CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Dedê Massa. In the 39th minute, Parfrente FC's Mauro Montenegro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mauro Montenegro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Parfrente FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mauro Montenegro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 38th minute, one of Parfrente FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Parfrente FC. After 42 played minutes TRICOSHOW F.CLUB got a freekick which was hit by André Pontes. When TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Germano Custódio in 45 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Haroldo Chaves guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamin de Alcântara was the one to do the kick off. After 50 played minutes Parfrente FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Gomes. After 51 played minutes, TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Hudson Chaves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Haroldo Chaves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TRICOSHOW F.CLUB reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Pontes got free with Haroldo Chaves in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Germano Custódio got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Parfrente FC booed when TRICOSHOW F.CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudinei Gomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th match minute, TRICOSHOW F.CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedê Massa to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Francisco de Carvalho got a free kick in the 79th minute. André Pontes hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. If Francisco de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Vicente Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Gomes in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Claudinei Gomes notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Vicente Lara. Vicente Lara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
