Felipe Zenóbio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Facciol, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Amado Totakoxe scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of John Balzan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 68th minute of the match Sliema Dragons FC got a corner. Belfegor FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabian Borg ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Sliema Dragons FC booed when Belfegor FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. For all the effort they put into the match, the Belfegor FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sliema Dragons FC.
