After 19 played minutes Hungarian Olympic got a freekick which was hit by György Edelényi. If Cristóvão Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dráusio Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mátyás Illés in the 41st minute of play. If Duda de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cristóvão Paranaense made the kick off in the second half. Dráusio Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from János Dala in the 53rd minute of the match. Izaltina FAD's Cristóvão Paranaense got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cristóvão Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's Duda de Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gergely Asztalos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Dráusio Oliveira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. José Paulo Recife's late challenge caught a Hungarian Olympic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Paulo Recife helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hungarian Olympic booed when Izaltina FAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Paulo Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Duda de Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 78 minutes, János Dala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungarian Olympic's supporters crossed their fingers, but János Dala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Duda de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gergely Asztalos having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hungarian Olympic's Mátyás Illés got a free kick in the 84th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Cristóvão Paranaense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Izaltina FAD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungarian Olympic the free kick. In the 88th match minute, Izaltina FAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristóvão Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. László Müller kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Hungarian Olympic's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
