An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Paranaense in the 10th minute of play forced Armageddon's goalkeeper Hugo Boss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Izaltina FAD's Cristóvão Paranaense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hugo Boss made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Iván Gómez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dráusio Oliveira having to make a save. Hugo Boss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duda de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Duda de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Boss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Boss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Paulo Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. José Paulo Recife's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Boss read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Dráusio Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erkki Haug, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Izaltina FAD's Dráusio Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Imre Karus in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iván Gómez in the 46th minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Dráusio Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristóvão Paranaense to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Imre Karus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráusio Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dráusio Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iván Gómez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Imre Karus could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Dráusio Oliveira however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 63 minutes, Cristóvão Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Izaltina FAD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristóvão Paranaense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Iván Gómez came free, but Dráusio Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Imre Karus could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Dráusio Oliveira however easily saved by the left post. Dráusio Oliveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Imre Karus in the 72nd minute. Hugo Boss stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristóvão Paranaense's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Iván Gómez came free, but Dráusio Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Izaltina FAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Izaltina FAD's Dráusio Oliveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Izaltina FAD from getting a goal against them. When Rui Moreira fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Izaltina FAD's protests and gave Rui Moreira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, Izaltina FAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Moreira to maneuver through the defense. Armageddon's Leopold Mäe got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
