Frodo Alabern fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Johnsson having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Nässén came free, but Xorxe Soldado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Thomas Nässén was slow to take the kick. During this time Ocean´s Eleven's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Thomas Nässén got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Xorxe Soldado quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 14th minute, Frodo Alabern got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Ocean´s Eleven's Lukas Askelöf nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xorxe Soldado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Frodo Alabern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Johnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Molina, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Xorxe Soldado was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Kjell-Arne Sandell capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kjell-Arne Sandell really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 40th minute, Rafa Llorca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 41 minutes, Thomas Nässén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ocean´s Eleven's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Nässén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ocean´s Eleven's Ingemar Sigman got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luis Molina was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Cebrián Hernandez got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd match minute, Ocean´s Eleven was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell-Arne Sandell to maneuver through the defense. Elias Johnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Molina in the 53rd minute of play. Elias Johnsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mané Aguado in the 55th minute. Kevin Julin's late challenge caught a ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kevin Julin helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorencio Bastida got free with Elias Johnsson in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th minute, Luis Molina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Xorxe Soldado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Julin, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Freddie Lindström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
