Spectators: 7705 (Terracing: 5780, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mané Aguado started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Lorencio Bastida got a free kick in the 6th minute. If Mané Aguado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xorxe Soldado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Toli, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Frodo Alabern could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Silvano Benat however easily saved by the left post. Luis Molina's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Silvano Benat skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 26th minute, Ivan Toli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xorxe Soldado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dionisio Jokin in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xorxe Soldado saved ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Toli in the 32nd minute of play forced ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goalkeeper Xorxe Soldado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Fábio Cartagena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hermosillo FC the free kick. In the 33rd minute, Adan Peli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermosillo FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Luis Molina scored to the left of an out of position Silvano Benat, making the score, 1-1. Frodo Alabern received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Silvano Benat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvano Benat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mané Aguado in the 40th minute. Frodo Alabern fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Benat having to interfere. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Fábio Cartagena got his second yellow card of the match in the 47th minute. The referee ordered Fábio Cartagena off the ground. A collision led to ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Fábio Cartagena hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Ivan Toli made the kick off in the second half. Luis Molina kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Xorxe Soldado was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ivan Toli. When Wilfredo Lluc fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hermosillo FC's protests and gave Wilfredo Lluc a yellow card for diving instead. Wilfredo Lluc hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Xorxe Soldado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Lain in the 64th minute of play. Adan Peli's late challenge caught a ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adan Peli helped the player get up and apologised. Adan Peli hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Hanni Rico's late challenge caught a Hermosillo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 70 played minutes Hermosillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Lain. Serafin Lain kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Serafin Lain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dionisio Jokin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Xorxe Soldado made a huge save. Hermosillo FC's Wilfredo Lluc got his second yellow card of the match in the 85th minute. The referee ordered Wilfredo Lluc off the ground. In the 86th minute, Wilfredo Lluc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's zone, Dionisio Jokin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xorxe Soldado came out of the goal and Dionisio Jokin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafa Llorca hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After 96 played minutes ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO got a freekick which was hit by Lorencio Bastida. The Hermosillo FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
