With his leg Sixto Iratxo managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when CSD Concepción's Frances Gacitúa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 11th minute, Dante Roland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GangsTaz F. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of CSD Concepción booed when GangsTaz F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Dollberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teofilo Barros struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Sixto Iratxo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSD Concepción. In the 25th minute Frances Gacitúa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Iratxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nestor Abarca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sixto Iratxo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayron Landaeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Frances Gacitúa had several of the GangsTaz F. C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Sixto Iratxo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Frances Gacitúa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sixto Iratxo came out and tried to block the shot, but Frances Gacitúa slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 39th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

CSD Concepción were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after GangsTaz F. C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marco Finlay took the corner. CSD Concepción's Celedonio Latapiat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Orland in the 56th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Frances Gacitúa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sixto Iratxo was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in CSD Concepción fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! The referee gave GangsTaz F. In the 76th minute, Christian Dollberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Siro Orland reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Celedonio Latapiat. The goal made the score 4-3. Teofilo Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the game, one of CSD Concepción:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Marcos Rojo placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a rather tough play, GangsTaz F. C.'s Fabio Beltza got a free kick in the 95th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Teofilo Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSD Concepción's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixto Iratxo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
