Spectators: 7686 (Terracing: 5765, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Etxahun Abeijon started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Frances Gacitúa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Abarca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, CSD Concepción's Niceto Serrano got a free kick in the 6th minute. If Frances Gacitúa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute Bayron Landaeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Abarca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Frances Gacitúa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Primitivo Abarca. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. After some careless play in the CSD Concepción defense, Charro Abascal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celedonio Latapiat. The CSD Concepción fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celedonio Latapiat should have stopped the shot. Bayron Landaeta struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Primitivo Abarca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSD Concepción. 26 minutes into the match, Tiki Taka FC's goalkeeper Primitivo Abarca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frances Gacitúa. After 29 played minutes CSD Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Macuer. Celedonio Latapiat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Etxahun Abeijon in the 30th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Frances Gacitúa put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Primitivo Abarca. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bayron Landaeta got free with Primitivo Abarca in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the match, Tiki Taka FC's goalkeeper Primitivo Abarca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bayron Landaeta. After a rather tough play, CSD Concepción's Teofilo Barros got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frances Gacitúa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Bayron Landaeta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CSD Concepción fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 55 minutes into the match, Bayron Landaeta notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Tiki Taka FC's Primitivo Abarca. Primitivo Abarca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Primitivo Abarca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charro Abascal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Latapiat having to interfere. In the 67th minute Etxahun Abeijon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Latapiat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frances Gacitúa charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frances Gacitúa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 68 played minutes CSD Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Frances Gacitúa. With a little luck, CSD Concepción's Celedonio Latapiat got control of the ball when Charro Abascal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Generosb Abalos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celedonio Latapiat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Bayron Landaeta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Primitivo Abarca was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. In the 81st minute Bayron Landaeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Abarca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Frances Gacitúa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bayron Landaeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CSD Concepción's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
