The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the match, Natalio Bernal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dumitru Buzea was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cipriano Elazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nechifor Ciurea, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. If Iacob Irimescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Eduardo Eleder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dumitru Buzea was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Eleder in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dumitru Buzea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute Isidro Martxelin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Buzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dumitru Buzea made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Rolando Furtado sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes in the game, Natalio Bernal fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dumitru Buzea having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Marius Tomoiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zuberbühler FC the free kick. In the 28th minute, Marius Tomoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29thth minute of the game Natalio Bernal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Dumitru Buzea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Natalio Bernal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Eduardo Eleder kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dumitru Buzea. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. Dumitru Buzea was a little too slow when Adan Mouricio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-0. The Zuberbühler FC fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Zuberbühler FC's Natalio Bernal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

Dumitru Buzea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Eleder in the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Petre Alecu got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute of the match Rolando Furtado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dumitru Buzea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Dumitru Buzea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Bernal in the 62nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natalio Bernal in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dumitru Buzea saved F.C CLUJ MEDICINA from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Nechifor Ciurea kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cipriano Elazar. That made the score 4-1 in the 74 minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Errolan came free, but Dumitru Buzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriu Bucurescu in the 83rd minute of play forced Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Cipriano Elazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valeriu Bucurescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Cipriano Elazar made a huge save. When Rolando Furtado fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zuberbühler FC's protests and gave Rolando Furtado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, Zuberbühler FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Furtado to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the F.C CLUJ MEDICINA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Zuberbühler FC.
