Sarmiento de Resistencia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 10th minute Basilio Mateus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbin Panhuyse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Bryan Balthazar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Benigno Manilan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Reinaert Jenken fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fox Hunting Squad's protests and gave Reinaert Jenken a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fox Hunting Squad getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Reinaert Jenken hit a great ball. Bryan Balthazar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Benigno Manilan made a huge save. In the 21st minute, Victor Steckens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes Victor Steckens rounded Sarmiento de Resistencia's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Simon Criston got a free kick in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Fox Hunting Squad's Bryan Balthazar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benigno Manilan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Basilio Mateus got his second yellow card of the match in the 43rd minute. The referee ordered Basilio Mateus off the ground. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Basilio Mateus got a free kick in the 44th minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Victor Steckens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fox Hunting Squad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Steckens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Bryan Balthazar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benigno Manilan. Sarmiento de Resistencia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bryan Balthazar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Siro Elazar was the one to do the kick off. When Tjorven Van Achter came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Fox Hunting Squad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tjorven Van Achter couldn't finish the play. Bryan Balthazar's late challenge caught a Sarmiento de Resistencia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bryan Balthazar helped the player get up and apologised. Bryan Balthazar hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Jaime Ellande hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Bryan Balthazar scored 6-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benigno Manilan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute, Stanny Schols hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bryan Balthazar struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Benigno Manilan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fox Hunting Squad. If Bryan Balthazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benigno Manilan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bryan Balthazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. When Fox Hunting Squad's Victor Steckens in 82 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Benigno Manilan guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 85th match minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Elazar to maneuver through the defense. Hernan Sarmento hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sarmiento de Resistencia's zone, Georges Leclerq stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benigno Manilan came out of the goal and Georges Leclerq tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benigno Manilan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryan Balthazar in the 91st minute of play. Benigno Manilan came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Fox Hunting Squad's Tjorven Van Achter. But to his dismay, Tjorven Van Achter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. 97 minutes into the game, Jaime Ellande was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarmiento de Resistencia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fox Hunting Squad the free kick. After 97 played minutes Sarmiento de Resistencia got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Ellande. Fox Hunting Squad walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
