F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Dumitru Buzea tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 40 minutes of play, FC LIVERPOOL's Lance Sedgemore made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dumitru Buzea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

FC LIVERPOOL's Justin Beevers was substituted for Dave Webster. The wind increased when Lance Sedgemore made the kick off in the second half. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Dumitru Buzea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavin Freeman in the 58th minute of play. That made the score 0-4 after 64 minutes of play. 68 minutes into the game, FC LIVERPOOL's Lance Sedgemore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dumitru Buzea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After 72 minutes of play, FC LIVERPOOL's Mick Mortimer made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dumitru Buzea was left in no man's land by his defense there! 75 minutes into the match, Gavin Freeman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dumitru Buzea. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gavin Freeman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Dumitru Buzea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lance Sedgemore in the 79th minute of play. When Mick Mortimer came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the FC LIVERPOOL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mick Mortimer couldn't finish the play. If Mick Mortimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC LIVERPOOL fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when FC LIVERPOOL's Lance Sedgemore looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FC LIVERPOOL played a much better game than F.C CLUJ MEDICINA and deserved their victory. The F.C CLUJ MEDICINA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
