Carlos Alberto Negri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kamen Sarandev in the 2nd minute. After a rather tough play, Futebol Dos Parça's Toninho de Barros got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kamen Sarandev got free with Carlos Alberto Negri in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Futebol Dos Parça's Carlos Alberto Negri got control of the ball when Dimitar Berbatov tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 13 minutes, Gancho Topencharov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC CSKA and the Futebol Dos Parça players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Dimitar Berbatov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 45 played minutes Futebol Dos Parça got a freekick which was hit by Donato Botelho. Vangel Dinev was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 60 minutes, Henrique Rosado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Futebol Dos Parça and the FC CSKA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute, Henrique Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafail Bumbovski in the 61st minute of play forced Futebol Dos Parça's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Alberto Negri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kamen Sarandev went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 67 minutes into the game, Rafail Bumbovski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC CSKA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Futebol Dos Parça the free kick. In the 67th minute, Rafail Bumbovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, FC CSKA's goalkeeper Atanas Dlúgnekov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Ortiz. When Kamen Sarandev came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the FC CSKA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kamen Sarandev couldn't finish the play.
