The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 played minutes F.C CLUJ MEDICINA got a freekick which was hit by Aurelian Panțâru. Gilbert Cisek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ion Isaicu's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. The F.C CLUJ MEDICINA fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Ion Isaicu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 13 minutes into the match, Rozbryzgane Rogale FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valeriu Bucurescu came free, but Gilbert Cisek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rozbryzgane Rogale FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ion Isaicu was slow to take the kick. During this time F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's players had a chance to rest. In the 18th minute, Ion Isaicu made a precise shot to the right of Gilbert Cisek. Rozbryzgane Rogale FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 26 minutes into the match, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goal looked a bit too open when Lucjan Ciechocki came free, but Dumitru Buzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Czeslaw Siembab lost his temper 28 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Rozbryzgane Rogale FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of F.C CLUJ MEDICINA:s goal. The referee gave F.C CLUJ MEDICINA a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ion Isaicu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rozbryzgane Rogale FC's Gilbert Cisek. 0-3. Dumitru Buzea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szczepan Zawacki, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 40 minutes into the match, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goal looked a bit too open when Szczepan Zawacki came free, but Dumitru Buzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rozbryzgane Rogale FC's Lucjan Ciechocki got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Rozbryzgane Rogale FC's Grzegorz Skrzypiec got a free kick in the 44th minute. Lucjan Ciechocki was extremely unlucky when he, in the 46th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The Rozbryzgane Rogale FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Szczepan Zawacki to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Ciechocki in the 51st minute of play forced F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Dumitru Buzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Dumitru Buzea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Deput in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Lucjan Ciechocki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute, Nechifor Ciurea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilbert Cisek was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Szczepan Zawacki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rozbryzgane Rogale FC's Szczepan Zawacki got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Lucjan Ciechocki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dumitru Buzea. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucjan Ciechocki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. After 70 played minutes Rozbryzgane Rogale FC got a freekick which was hit by Mateusz Glembin. Lucjan Ciechocki took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dumitru Buzea. Dumitru Buzea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. In the 83rd minute Lucjan Ciechocki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Buzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rozbryzgane Rogale FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomasz Pstrongowski in the 85th minute. Tomasz Pstrongowski made a great header on Rozbryzgane Rogale FC's corner, it was just that F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Dumitru Buzea managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 87th minute, Ion Isaicu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucjan Ciechocki hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched F.C CLUJ MEDICINA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
