In the 19th minute, Victor Steckens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Risto Leinatamm was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Risto Leinatamm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Steckens in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Grimório's Raigo Võsu got a free kick in the 25th minute. Tauno Aal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grimório's Risto Leinatamm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryan Balthazar in the 36th minute of play. Victor Steckens scored 0-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Risto Leinatamm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Bryan Balthazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaagup Valgupera was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Grimório defense, Victor Steckens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Risto Leinatamm. The Grimório fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Risto Leinatamm should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Fox Hunting Squad left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Grimório.
