Jan Kuokkanen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niilo Vähäsavo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Eufemio in the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Menchu FC's Siro Eufemio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niilo Vähäsavo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After having played for 22 minutes, Jeremias Mincho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Menchu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Mincho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th match minute, Savon Palloseura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mika Viitanen to maneuver through the defense. Siro Eufemio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honorio Garcia was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. In the 32nd match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Edgard Baldovino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Niilo Vähäsavo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgard Baldovino made a kick off. Savon Palloseura's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Edgard Baldovino 64 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. After having played for 68 minutes, Edgard Baldovino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filiberto Etxeberri in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niilo Vähäsavo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Filiberto Etxeberri came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Menchu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiberto Etxeberri couldn't finish the play. Filiberto Etxeberri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Niilo Vähäsavo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Savon Palloseura's Niilo Vähäsavo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Etxeberri in the 92nd minute of play. Serafino Aguilera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Kuokkanen in the 95th minute of the match. Although Savon Palloseura had been in control for most of the match, Menchu FC still came away with the win.
