Spectators: 7793 (Terracing: 5846, Seating: 1792, VIP seats: 155) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jonatan Igon got the match started through his kick off. Serafino Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Peruanton in the 5th minute of play. After 6 minutes Menchu FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guaberto Peruanton who took care of the corner kick. Menchu FC's Serafino Aguilera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Igon in the 9th minute of play. Anselmo Tabb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Baldovino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Mincho to maneuver through the defense. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Alvaro Asteri got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute of the match Atletico Calamar Saavedra got a corner. Menchu FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guaberto Peruanton ran over to the corner to take the kick. Epifanio Mirande kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When Guaberto Peruanton came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Atletico Calamar Saavedra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guaberto Peruanton couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute Menchu FC were awarded a corner. Lucio Ourente went to the cornerflag to take it. Menchu FC's Lucio Ourente was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anselmo Tabb in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Anselmo Tabb made an important save on a dangerous shot by Siro Eufemio in the 39th minute. In the 40th match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Mirande to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Siro Eufemio to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Siro Eufemio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anselmo Tabb. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Siro Eufemio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Anselmo Tabb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Baldovino in the 58th minute of play. In the 64th minute of the match Roberto Lohitzun shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anselmo Tabb showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Salvador Jerrold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Jerrold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Menchu FC made a substitution. Roberto Gorri replaced Edgard Baldovino. Anselmo Tabb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Gorri, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Serafino Aguilera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 78th minute Salvador Jerrold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Aguilera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Tabb came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Menchu FC's Siro Eufemio. But to his dismay, Siro Eufemio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Anselmo Tabb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Eufemio in the 92nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Teodosio Columbo got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Menchu FC could leave the field as winners, despite Atletico Calamar Saavedra having more of the ball for most of the match.
