The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Américo Henriques in the 11th minute of play forced Sannegården BK's goalkeeper Dennis Säfström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilário Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Bivall in the 14th minute of the match. After 17 minutes, Benne Speed mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sannegården BK and the Pau Nas Canelas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th minute, Benne Speed hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dennis Säfström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Dennis Säfström had in the 28thth minute some difficulties stopping Rui Colaço's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Hilário Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Bivall in the 30th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Åke Bivall got free with Hilário Neiva in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hilário Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Bivall, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Åke Bivall had several of the Pau Nas Canelas's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Hilário Neiva as he didn't even see the shot coming. Dennis Säfström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Henriques in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Åke Bivall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Américo Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Säfström having to interfere. Hilário Neiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakob Hellqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Sannegården BK fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Sannegården BK's Åke Bivall looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Adelino Luz charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adelino Luz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Åke Bivall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Åke Bivall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Benne Speed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hilário Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakob Hellqvist in the 92nd minute of the match. After 93 played minutes Sannegården BK got a freekick which was hit by Tzedkiyahu Tzanetoulakos.
