Marin Panait might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raul Brandao. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marin Panait ran back to his position shaking his head. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Raul Brandao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Mirea in the 9th minute of play. Iosif Bulcă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Raul Brandao made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Diómedes Rodriguez put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Răzvan Cârstoiu. Raul Brandao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Schiau in the 20th minute of play. Gigi Minculescu's late challenge caught a ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gigi Minculescu helped the player get up and apologised. 23 minutes into the game, Diómedes Rodriguez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Răzvan Cârstoiu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 26 played minutes, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Cheito Mota shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Răzvan Cârstoiu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ reached it. Raul Brandao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Panait, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Brandao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Schiau in the 30th minute of the match. Diómedes Rodriguez scored 0-3 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Răzvan Cârstoiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Dragoş Neaga took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Raul Brandao to make any attempt to save it. In the 54th minute, Augustin Mirea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raul Brandao was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Raul Brandao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Mirea in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Diómedes Rodriguez made a precise shot to the right of Răzvan Cârstoiu. ABK Black Warriors73's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. But to his dismay, Diómedes Rodriguez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. In the 88th minute, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Calito Garcia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-6. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
