Raul Brandao dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goal looked a bit too open when Santos Romano came free, but Raul Brandao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Raul Brandao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Romano in the 19th minute of play. Ernesto Peruanton scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raul Brandao, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Santos Romano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raul Brandao. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santos Romano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Diómedes Rodriguez struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Loco Nanuk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ►Las Mercedes F.C◄. Loco Nanuk acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 35th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cheito Mota. Diómedes Rodriguez scored 1-3 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Loco Nanuk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ booed when ..Villa Rugby Club.. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Cilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santos Romano made a kick off. Ernesto Peruanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Raul Brandao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ from getting a goal against them. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Cheito Mota got his second yellow card of the match in the 58th minute.
