The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But to his dismay, Andres Villalobos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Calito Garcia's late challenge caught a Bearnaise EA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Calito Garcia helped the player get up and apologised. After 12 played minutes ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ got a freekick which was hit by Calito Garcia. Calito Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Roland Kielberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raul Brandao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reine Lindkvist in the 21st minute of the match. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Andres Villalobos got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diómedes Rodriguez in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roland Kielberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diómedes Rodriguez in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roland Kielberg saved Bearnaise EA from getting behind. Agne Aronsson hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Reine Lindkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Brandao didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carl Holmgren went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 46th minute, Reine Lindkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Bearnaise EA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reine Lindkvist made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Linus Bengtsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raul Brandao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Kruse in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Kruse in the 64th minute of play forced ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalkeeper Raul Brandao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Johannes Kruse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raul Brandao was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. After 75 minutes of play, Bearnaise EA's Reine Lindkvist made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raul Brandao was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carl Holmgren in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raul Brandao saved ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ from getting behind. Raul Brandao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Åberg in the 90th minute of play. Reine Lindkvist's late challenge caught a ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reine Lindkvist helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute, Reine Lindkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bearnaise EA's Roland Kielberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Bearnaise EA from getting a goal against them. Bearnaise EA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
