Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Leo Maradona lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Raul Brandao. Cheito Mota's late challenge caught a Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cheito Mota helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ got a freekick which was hit by Cheito Mota. Calito Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgardo Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. With a little luck, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Raul Brandao got control of the ball when Antoni Lichucki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Miroslaw Czeszejko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diómedes Rodriguez in the 24th minute of play. Miroslaw Czeszejko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diómedes Rodriguez in the 26th minute of the match. The corner ended in Edgardo Arias almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Miroslaw Czeszejko did a great save. After some careless play in the ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ defense, Leo Maradona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raul Brandao. The ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raul Brandao should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute, Leo Maradona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s zone, Micky Trump stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Brandao came out of the goal and Micky Trump tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miroslaw Czeszejko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diómedes Rodriguez in the 38th minute of the match. Luis Figo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Raul Brandao came out and tried to block the shot, but Luis Figo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 40th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Leo Maradona slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raul Brandao. That made the score 4-0 after 43 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Leo Maradona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Brandao having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Maradona in the 67th minute of play forced ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalkeeper Raul Brandao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th match minute, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joe Morales to maneuver through the defense. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Raul Brandao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoni Lichucki in the 73rd minute of play. Andres Villalobos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute Leo Maradona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Brandao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raul Brandao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Kochowski in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Eduardo Gómez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Figo took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raul Brandao. Raul Brandao dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. A collision led to Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Tomasz Penc hit a great ball. Edgardo Arias took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Miroslaw Czeszejko. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
