The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gudesteo Santiago kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Felipo Ramirez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Liknes in the 4th minute of play. SC Pfullendorf were furious when Garci Macho was red carded, 7 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 6 minutes into the game, one of SC Pfullendorf:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Felipo Ramirez had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Christian Liknes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 10 minutes into the match, SC Pfullendorf's goalkeeper Felipo Ramirez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tord Sundnes. SC Pfullendorf's Felipo Ramirez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save SC Pfullendorf from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marquez Tobias in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Miljeteig saved Daustad from getting behind. In the 15th minute, Daustad's Lars Juul seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lars Juul the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Daustad protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lars Juul had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Daustad! Christian Miljeteig had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Isidro Diez's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Christian Liknes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipo Ramirez having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Tord Sundnes took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Felipo Ramirez to make any attempt to save it. SC Pfullendorf's Marquez Tobias got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tord Sundnes might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felipo Ramirez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tord Sundnes ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lars Støylen in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felipo Ramirez saved SC Pfullendorf from getting behind. Roar Walberg charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roar Walberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Daustad's Roar Walberg got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute of the match Isidro Diez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Miljeteig skillfully saved the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
Ximo Tobias charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ximo Tobias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Pfullendorf getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ximo Tobias hit a great ball. When Lars Støylen came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Daustad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Støylen couldn't finish the play. SC Pfullendorf's Felipo Ramirez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tord Sundnes in the 55th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Loramendi Jurado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lars Obrestad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lars Støylen hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, Tord Sundnes notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of SC Pfullendorf's Felipo Ramirez. Felipo Ramirez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SC Pfullendorf's Felipo Ramirez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tord Sundnes in the 77th minute of play. Marquez Tobias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Miljeteig having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Daustad's Christian Liknes got a free kick in the 87th minute. Christian Miljeteig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kepa Machado in the 90th minute of the match. In the 96th match minute, SC Pfullendorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquez Tobias to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Christian Liknes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Daustad fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Pfullendorf had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
