Spectators: 7681 (Terracing: 5778, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hugo Bernardes started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, LosPibardos F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Bernardes came free, but Rodney Abancens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Bernardes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Celso Baía received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Rodney Abancens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodney Abancens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Bernardes, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Rodney Abancens came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by MZ Fénix's Hugo Bernardes. But to his dismay, Hugo Bernardes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 14 minutes, Bingen Morientes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LosPibardos F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bingen Morientes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to MZ Fénix getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Celso Baía hit a great ball. Tabb De Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Joel Caeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodney Abancens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Bernardes in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodney Abancens saved LosPibardos F.C from getting behind. With an all-out effort, LosPibardos F.C's Zarco Bandeira threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Xulio Calvo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of LosPibardos F.C booed when MZ Fénix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrício Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toli Izquierdo hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bingen Morientes to strike the kick off in the second half. Bingen Morientes charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bingen Morientes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Hugo Bernardes took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Rodney Abancens to make any attempt to save it. When Patrício Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MZ Fénix's protests and gave Patrício Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes MZ Fénix got a freekick which was hit by Patrício Amaral. Celso Baía scored 0-3 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodney Abancens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rodney Abancens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Bernardes in the 70th minute of the match. The corner led to MZ Fénix's Alexandrino Palha getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. With a little luck, LosPibardos F.C's Rodney Abancens got control of the ball when Joel Caeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to MZ Fénix getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Alexandrino Palha hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Joel Caeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodney Abancens. LosPibardos F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Caeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Rodney Abancens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Bernardes, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 87 minutes into the game, MZ Fénix's Hugo Bernardes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodney Abancens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in LosPibardos F.C's zone, Celso Baía stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodney Abancens came out of the goal and Celso Baía tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodney Abancens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Bernardes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. MZ Fénix had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
