Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Inge Forsell to make the kick off. Rolf Pettersson made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Raulo Seda sent off a good shot on target. Alianza Trujillo's Godofredo Tejerina got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alianza Trujillo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
