Spectators: 7669 (Terracing: 5752, Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eric Malone started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Gabino Briones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Eric Malone's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Innocenzio Alcalde was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Deportivo Rodriguez were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Goliath Pequeño took the corner. In the 8th minute Connor Marrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Innocenzio Alcalde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Bernat Masseda hit a great ball. Innocenzio Alcalde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Malone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Innocenzio Alcalde came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Rodriguez's Eric Malone. But to his dismay, Eric Malone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 14th minute of the match Goliath Pequeño shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Innocenzio Alcalde showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cedric Coulter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Rodriguez's Cedric Coulter got a free kick in the 18th minute. The supporters of ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ booed when Deportivo Rodriguez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Malone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Innocenzio Alcalde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raymond Arrington in the 28th minute of the match. If Sotero Mescua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Connor Marrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Innocenzio Alcalde having to interfere. Innocenzio Alcalde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Connor Marrero went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Innocenzio Alcalde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raymond Arrington, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Ivan Lucero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mogel Gordo in the 40th minute. In the 45th minute, Mogel Gordo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Innocenzio Alcalde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cedric Coulter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

In the 52nd match minute, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martxel Baezabal to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute Connor Marrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Innocenzio Alcalde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sotero Mescua came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sotero Mescua couldn't finish the play. Mogel Gordo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 57 played minutes Deportivo Rodriguez got a freekick which was hit by Raymond Arrington. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Innocenzio Alcalde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cedric Coulter in the 60th minute of play. After 62 played minutes Deportivo Rodriguez got a freekick which was hit by Sherman Holliday. After a defensive mix-up in ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s zone, Connor Marrero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Innocenzio Alcalde came out of the goal and Connor Marrero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eneto Lojo hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Deportivo Rodriguez's Goliath Pequeño shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Innocenzio Alcalde but with some difficulty. 75 minutes into the match, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goalkeeper Innocenzio Alcalde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raymond Arrington. Cedric Coulters short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Innocenzio Alcalde to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 77 played minutes ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ got a freekick which was hit by Locaio Perdiz. After some careless play in the Deportivo Rodriguez defense, Mogel Gordo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Lucero. The Deportivo Rodriguez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Lucero should have stopped the shot. Cedric Coulter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Innocenzio Alcalde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sherman Holliday kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Innocenzio Alcalde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Connor Marrero's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. If Martxel Baezabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deportivo Rodriguez's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
