Vilhelm Mjølner charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vilhelm Mjølner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to The Northmen Army getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. It was beautiful to see The Northmen Army's Marcus Mjølner in action when he in the 55th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Osman Tahir came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by The Northmen Army's Jack Lundberg. But to his dismay, Jack Lundberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Vahdet Kuddus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Hafström having to interfere. Hugo Holmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Osman Tahir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jack Lundberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osman Tahir. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jack Lundberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Osman Tahir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Holmberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 91 minutes into the game, The Northmen Army's Hugo Holmberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osman Tahir made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 95th minute Hugo Holmberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osman Tahir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Montana's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
