After 2 played minutes Ponte do Carro got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Lucena. When Timo!'s Rene Ilixo in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ponte do Carro's goalie prevented a goal. Alípio Regalado was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Severino Faron capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Severino Faron really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Ponte do Carro's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Ilixo came free, but Alípio Regalado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvério Cardoso charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvério Cardoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ponte do Carro getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Silvério Cardoso hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Humberto Mel made a precise shot to the right of Alípio Regalado. Ponte do Carro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Alexandre Lucena kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Ponte do Carro's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Ilixo came free, but Alípio Regalado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alípio Regalado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Ilixo in the 28th minute of the match. Alípio Regalado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rene Ilixo's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Humberto Mel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Alípio Regalado made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Ponte do Carro's Máximo Malafaia got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 38thth minute of the game Rene Ilixo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ponte do Carro's Alípio Regalado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roque Montes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máximo Malafaia in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Máximo Malafaia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roque Montes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The wind increased when Eusébio Leão made the kick off in the second half. Rene Ilixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alípio Regalado having to interfere. Alípio Regalado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Faustino Arano went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 61 minutes into the match, Ponte do Carro's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Ilixo came free, but Alípio Regalado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Timo!'s Severino Faron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alípio Regalado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rene Ilixo struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Alípio Regalado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timo!. Máximo Malafaia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roque Montes came out and tried to block the shot, but Máximo Malafaia slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Rene Ilixo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Timo!'s supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Ilixo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alípio Regalado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Rene Ilixo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alípio Regalado was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Máximo Malafaia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roque Montes. That made the score 4-3 in the 77 minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Severino Faron made a precise shot to the right of Alípio Regalado. Ponte do Carro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3. 86 minutes into the match, Rene Ilixo notched a goal, 6-3, to the right of Ponte do Carro's Alípio Regalado. Alípio Regalado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rene Ilixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute Eusébio Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Montes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timo! were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ponte do Carro for a fine match.
