Eric Malone charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eric Malone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Quinn Bond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sancar Sair in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Roosevelt Sullivan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osman Tahir was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 25th minute of the match, Raymond Arrington tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Osman Tahir saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 27th minute, Arda Baybars Sarısaltuk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Montana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Osman Tahir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roosevelt Sullivan in the 34th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Montana defense, Connor Marrero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osman Tahir. The FC Montana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osman Tahir should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute, Sherman Holliday hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute of the match Dino Montana sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Quinn Bond skillfully saved the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Deportivo Rodriguez's goal looked a bit too open when Arda Baybars Sarısaltuk came free, but Quinn Bond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osman Tahir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Connor Marrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Quinn Bond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şensoy Usun in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arda Baybars Sarısaltuk made a kick off. In the 54th minute Umur Ökten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quinn Bond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osman Tahir didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Goliath Mediano went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 61 minutes into the match, Raymond Arrington had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osman Tahir. FC Montana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raymond Arrington was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 66th minute, Umur Ökten reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Quinn Bond. The goal made the score 4-2. Goliath Mediano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Arda Baybars Sarısaltuk could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Quinn Bond however easily saved by the left post. 77 minutes into the match, Connor Marrero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osman Tahir. FC Montana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Connor Marrero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Arda Baybars Sarısaltuk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Quinn Bond made a huge save. Sancar Sair struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Quinn Bond didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Montana. FC Montana's Arda Baybars Sarısaltuk got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sancar Sair in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quinn Bond saved Deportivo Rodriguez from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Deportivo Rodriguez fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Montana had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
