Spectators: 7692 (Terracing: 5770, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Ruy Valle started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Wolves FC - DMZ's Dida Varela got a free kick in the 4th minute. Ruy Valle took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alípio Regalado. Alípio Regalado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Guerra in the 10th minute of play forced Ponte do Carro's goalkeeper Alípio Regalado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alípio Regalado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruy Valle's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moisés Nogueira during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Wolves FC - DMZ booed when Ponte do Carro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moisés Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Moisés Nogueira notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Wolves FC - DMZ's Zé Veloso. Zé Veloso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ruy Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Alípio Regalado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Dida Varela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wolves FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusébio Leão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Eusébio Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Eusébio Leão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Veloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Zé Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moisés Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute Moisés Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Moisés Nogueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ponte do Carro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. After 74 minutes, Silvério Cardoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ponte do Carro and the Wolves FC - DMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. 73 minutes into the game, one of Ponte do Carro:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ponte do Carro's Moisés Nogueira got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Moisés Nogueira off the ground. In the 78th match minute, Ponte do Carro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. Wanderson Lopez was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 81st minute, Alexandre Lucena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ponte do Carro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-4. 93 minutes into the match, Vítor Sacramento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Veloso. Wolves FC - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vítor Sacramento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Vítor Sacramento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ponte do Carro's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor Sacramento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Veloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Conrado Vinhas fell near the penalty area in the 99th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wolves FC - DMZ's protests and gave Conrado Vinhas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 99th match minute, Wolves FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. Ponte do Carro's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
