Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Diego Carredano took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Lastra Trilla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Astillero del Guayas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bonival the free kick. The supporters of Bonival booed when Astillero del Guayas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lastra Trilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurinho Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Vinicio Collado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bonival's Arthur Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaquiel Boñar in the 13th minute of play. If Zaquiel Boñar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute, Zaquiel Boñar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arthur Lago was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 25th match minute, Bonival was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renatinho Lucas to maneuver through the defense. Arthur Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Carredano, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Arthur Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaquiel Boñar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodney Cosca's late challenge caught a Bonival's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodney Cosca helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 played minutes Astillero del Guayas got a freekick which was hit by Rodney Cosca. 44 minutes into the match, Diego Carredano notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Bonival's Arthur Lago. Arthur Lago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdemar Cardoso to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Astillero del Guayas booed when Bonival was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dadá Carioca didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Lastra Trilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinicio Collado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar Cardoso in the 65th minute of the match. After having played for 67 minutes, Valdemar Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bonival's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdemar Cardoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Corozo Nevares fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Astillero del Guayas's protests and gave Corozo Nevares a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Astillero del Guayas's Corozo Nevares got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Maurinho Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdemar Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Collado having to interfere. After 79 minutes of play, Bonival's Valdemar Cardoso made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vinicio Collado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vinicio Collado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Cardoso in the 82nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xuoco Canal during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Astillero del Guayas getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Xuoco Canal hit a great ball. After 95 minutes, Pedrão Cordeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bonival and the Astillero del Guayas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pedrão Cordeiro hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Bonival players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
