Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5785, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 42) Gladiator FC's Ennio Pizzi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Gladiator FC's Beppe Rivera slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amado Iruinea. That made the score 2-0 after 10 minutes of play. In the 14th minute of the match Cornelio Cristofor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fedele Nardi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the match, CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's goalkeeper Amado Iruinea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Comunardo Rullo. 16 minutes into the game, Comunardo Rullo lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Amado Iruinea. CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Amado Iruinea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 from getting a goal against them. Angelo Marchegiani charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Marchegiani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th minute, one of Gladiator FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gladiator FC. Nemesio Leheren kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Victoriano Fernado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fedele Nardi. Gladiator FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victoriano Fernado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Fedele Nardi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel-Omar Bati's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Beppe Rivera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gladiator FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 the free kick. The supporters of CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 booed when Gladiator FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beppe Rivera didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Ennio Pizzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amado Iruinea was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel-Omar Bati to make the kick off. Amado Iruinea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ennio Pizzi in the 52nd minute of play. Amado Iruinea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beppe Rivera, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Franco Mariano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Sixto Celipe got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Beppe Rivera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Comunardo Rullo notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Amado Iruinea. Amado Iruinea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Beppe Rivera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amado Iruinea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Beppe Rivera went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. After 78 played minutes Gladiator FC got a freekick which was hit by Franco Mariano. After having played for 79 minutes, Cornelio Cristofor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornelio Cristofor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ennio Pizzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Gladiator FC's Angelo Marchegiani got a free kick in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel-Omar Bati in the 88th minute of play forced Gladiator FC's goalkeeper Fedele Nardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Gabriel-Omar Bati hit a great ball. Gladiator FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
