Spectators: 7680 (Terracing: 5761, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Constantino Beila started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Amadeo Alonso fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Suipacha FC's protests and gave Amadeo Alonso a yellow card for diving instead. Amadeo Alonso hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Suipacha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zaquiel Boñar came free, but Justino Senen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Suipacha FC's Gogo Manni to fire away a dangerous shot which Vinicio Collado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Constantino Beila in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vinicio Collado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Diego Carredano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Astillero del Guayas getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Videl Amaya hit a great ball. Felix Goito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Astillero del Guayas's Zuberoa Sanguino seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zuberoa Sanguino the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Astillero del Guayas protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zuberoa Sanguino had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Zuberoa Sanguino hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diego Carredano made a kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Beila couldn't finish the play. When Suipacha FC's Leonardo Arce in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Astillero del Guayas's goalie prevented a goal. After 68 played minutes Astillero del Guayas got a freekick which was hit by Videl Amaya. Leonardo Arce struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Vinicio Collado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suipacha FC. Vinicio Collado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Beila in the 84th minute of the match. After 87 played minutes Suipacha FC got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Beila. After 91 played minutes Astillero del Guayas got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Meruelo. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
