Zaquiel Boñar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Jonathan Feo made a huge save. In the 11th minute of the match Astillero del Guayas got a corner. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zuberoa Sanguino ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Lorenzo Fernado hit a great ball. Astillero del Guayas's Zuberoa Sanguino got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Feo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Carredano in the 23rd minute of play. Vinicio Collado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Jenaro in the 26th minute of the match. Rodolfo Enaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Collado having to interfere. A collision led to C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Nemesio Ricart hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Zuberoa Sanguino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute, Astillero del Guayas's Diego Carredano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Jonathan Feo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Carredano in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Enaut in the 46th minute of play forced Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper Vinicio Collado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Astillero del Guayas's Zuberoa Sanguino got a free kick in the 47th minute. Ildefonso Madeo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vinicio Collado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodolfo Enaut to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Enaut recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vinicio Collado. Rodolfo Enaut showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Rodolfo Enaut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Vinicio Collado made a huge save. 63 minutes into the match, Astillero del Guayas's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Enaut came free, but Vinicio Collado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zaquiel Boñar kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Ricardo Cai got a free kick in the 65th minute. Nemesio Ricart got a throw-in 67 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Timoteo Bertran. Zaquiel Boñar came free in the 71st minute and tried to tip the ball over Jonathan Feo, but to the joy of C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's supporters the ball went over. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Enaut in the 75th minute of play forced Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper Vinicio Collado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 minutes, Ildefonso Madeo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ and the Astillero del Guayas players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Astillero del Guayas booed when C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Madeo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Enaut got free with Vinicio Collado in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Feo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Carredano in the 97th minute of play.
