Spectators: 7701 (Terracing: 5777, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dobromir Dresik kicked off to start the match. After 8 minutes, Leszek Olejasz made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Grodzka's Zdzislaw Walentowicz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Grodzka's Zdzislaw Walentowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jedrzej Koprowski in the 15th minute of play. After 16 played minutes FC Grodzka got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Sala. Edmund Loncki's late challenge caught a Red Devils's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmund Loncki helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Grodzka's Edmund Loncki got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 26 played minutes FC Grodzka got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Fikus. After having played for 27 minutes, Przemyslaw Wierzbicki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Devils's supporters crossed their fingers, but Przemyslaw Wierzbicki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgar Rydzyk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dobromir Dresik in the 29th minute. After 32 played minutes, FC Grodzka's Szczepan Olszewski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edgar Rydzyk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Grodzka reached it. If Julian Oliszewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Leszek Olejasz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 39th minute, Leszek Olejasz made a precise shot to the right of Zdzislaw Walentowicz. FC Grodzka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Red Devils's Zbyszko Hoffman got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Julian Oliszewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Zdzislaw Walentowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Edmund Loncki tried in the game's 51st match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Zdzislaw Walentowicz. An annoying self made goal, 0-3. Edgar Rydzyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dobromir Dresik, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Piotr Klimkiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgar Rydzyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Sala in the 60th minute of play. Zdzislaw Walentowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Oliszewski in the 64th minute of the match. Olgierd Parajewski hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Zdzislaw Walentowicz made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Piotr Klimkiewicz sent off a good shot on target. Leszek Olejasz struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Zdzislaw Walentowicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Devils. Piotr Klimkiewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Zdzislaw Walentowicz made a huge save. Juliusz Wolnik hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Piotr Klimkiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zdzislaw Walentowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Oliszewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Red Devils's Piotr Klimkiewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Piotr Klimkiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Olaf Buda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute of the match Szczepan Olszewski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgar Rydzyk skillfully saved the ball. Leszek Olejasz kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Red Devils played a much better game than FC Grodzka and deserved their victory. The FC Grodzka players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
