Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 153) In the 4th minute Ennio Pizzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ennio Pizzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Ennio Pizzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gladiator FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ennio Pizzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arthur Lago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antonello Cipriani charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonello Cipriani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bonival getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Renatinho Lucas hit a great ball. Bonival's Arthur Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennio Pizzi in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Fabiano Tatangelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gladiator FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabiano Tatangelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arthur Lago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arthur Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Comunardo Rullo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bonival's Arthur Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beppe Rivera in the 42nd minute of play. Comunardo Rullo took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arthur Lago. Arthur Lago dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ennio Pizzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute Maurinho Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fedele Nardi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arthur Lago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Comunardo Rullo in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Ennio Pizzi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arthur Lago. Ennio Pizzi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. The supporters of Gladiator FC booed when Bonival was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arthur Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ennio Pizzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 81 minutes Bonival's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arrigo Addari who took care of the corner kick. Gladiator FC's Comunardo Rullo got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bonival's Arthur Lago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Bonival from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute, Comunardo Rullo made a precise shot to the right of Arthur Lago. Bonival's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Bonival's zone, Beppe Rivera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Lago came out of the goal and Beppe Rivera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
