Edgar Rydzyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Deroek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Jedrzej Koprowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Devils's supporters rose to their feet, but Jedrzej Koprowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ritchie Stocks breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jedrzej Koprowski in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ritchie Stocks, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Leon Heijligem sped through Red Devils's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edgar Rydzyk. Jedrzej Koprowski struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Ritchie Stocks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Devils. If Dante Deroek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 36th minute Dante Deroek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Rydzyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piotr Klimkiewicz scored 1-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ritchie Stocks, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Piotr Klimkiewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Ritchie Stocks made a huge save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Red Devils fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! Edgar Rydzyk went to the wrong direction when Paul-Louis Van de Plas was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leon Heijligem was the one to do the kick off. Edgar Rydzyk didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 54th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. 63 minutes into the match, Red Devils's goalkeeper Edgar Rydzyk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leon Heijligem. Ritchie Stocks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jedrzej Koprowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After having played for 68 minutes, Tom Francken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Keikoppers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tom Francken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Tom Francken kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edgar Rydzyk. That made the score 2-3 in the 70 minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Hugon Wierzbicki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Red Devils's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave De Keikoppers the free kick. A collision led to Red Devils getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Hugon Wierzbicki hit a great ball. After 75 played minutes De Keikoppers got a freekick which was hit by Dante Deroek. The audience was convinced that Jedrzej Koprowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ritchie Stocks was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Ritchie Stocks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Klimkiewicz in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in De Keikoppers's zone, Jedrzej Koprowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ritchie Stocks came out of the goal and Jedrzej Koprowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 87 minutes of play, Red Devils's Leszek Olejasz made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ritchie Stocks was left in no man's land by his defense there! 92 minutes into the game, Paul-Louis Van de Plas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Keikoppers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Devils the free kick. After 92 played minutes De Keikoppers got a freekick which was hit by Paul-Louis Van de Plas. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tom Francken got free with Edgar Rydzyk in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
