The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Musta in the 8th minute of play forced Tiger's goalkeeper Kristian Willem Neuling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toader Nițulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Willem Neuling having to interfere. Constantin Musta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡'s Horea Cârțan got a free kick in the 24th minute. Tiger's Edmund Schoettle was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 31 minutes into the match, ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡'s goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Schoettle came free, but Dorel Cercelescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Edmund Schoettle took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Dorel Cercelescu to make any attempt to save it. With an all-out effort, Tiger's Dorel Cercelescu threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmund Schoettle, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kristian Willem Neuling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stelian Rotariu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Tiger's zone, Stelian Rotariu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristian Willem Neuling came out of the goal and Stelian Rotariu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmund Schoettle to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡'s Kristian Willem Neuling threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Constantin Musta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Stelian Rotariu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Kristian Willem Neuling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Garefrekes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Tiger booed when ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Răzvan Albuț didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ken Raus in the 72nd minute of play forced ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡'s goalkeeper Dorel Cercelescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Detmar Stuchtey kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡ getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Valer Lițiu hit a great ball. After 91 played minutes ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡ got a freekick which was hit by Horea Cârțan. After a rather tough play, ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡'s Constantin Musta got a free kick in the 92nd minute. ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
