Spectators: 7811 (Terracing: 5860, Seating: 1796, VIP seats: 155) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cipriano Olivar started the match with the kick off. In the 5thth minute of the game Cipriano Olivar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but União Verde FC's Bebeto de Salles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cipriano Olivar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bebeto de Salles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to União Verde FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Jorge Mendonça hit a great ball. União Verde FC made a substitution. Rui Lara replaced Gil Paiva. Hugo Txeru kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Laércio Damião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Gagriel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, União Verde FC's Jorge Mendonça got a free kick in the 30th minute. Válbson Marques hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Machine Gun Kelly made a substitution. Teodoro Ishmael replaced Sixto Etxeberri. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laércio Damião to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, União Verde FC's Gilvan Pombal got a free kick in the 54th minute. União Verde FC's Bebeto de Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Peter in the 56th minute of play. Jorge Mendonça got his second yellow card in the match during the 61st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Jorge Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Jaime Peyo struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Bebeto de Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Machine Gun Kelly. A collision led to União Verde FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Laércio Damião hit a great ball. Gilvan Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Domingos Peter sped through União Verde FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bebeto de Salles. 93 minutes into the match, Machine Gun Kelly's Evaristo Gaufred broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 95th match minute, Machine Gun Kelly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Txeru to maneuver through the defense. Laércio Damião kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. União Verde FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
