Eusebio Cayo might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jerônimo Albuquerque. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eusebio Cayo ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Rumaldo's late challenge caught a AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benito Rumaldo helped the player get up and apologised. After 11 played minutes OLYMPIACOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Benito Rumaldo. Ovidio Oto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 18th minute, Kauan Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Charles Trevisan got a free kick in the 21st minute. After recieving a nice pass, OLYMPIACOS FC's Haroldo Etxahun tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Elivélton Mello hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santos Lazcano got free with Jerônimo Albuquerque in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elpidio Brais's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Jerônimo Albuquerque skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. OLYMPIACOS FC's Elpidio Brais was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernabe Normando got free with Jerônimo Albuquerque in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Lazcano in the 35th minute of play forced AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's goalkeeper Jerônimo Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerônimo Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Lazcano in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santos Lazcano in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerônimo Albuquerque prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Lara made a kick off. Haroldo Etxahun hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 54 played minutes AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Passos. AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ made a substitution. Caco Hermes replaced Pedro Paulo Correia. The supporters of AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ booed when OLYMPIACOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Chayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th match minute, OLYMPIACOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabe Normando to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, OLYMPIACOS FC's Andres Mateo got a free kick in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Kléberson Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Kléberson Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Oto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kauan Cabral in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidio Oto saved OLYMPIACOS FC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kauan Cabral got free with Ovidio Oto in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 89 minutes into the match, OLYMPIACOS FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Oto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norberto da Mata. Ovidio Oto was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Norberto da Mata capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Norberto da Mata really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. OLYMPIACOS FC were victorious despite being under pressure from AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ for much of the match.
