The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee felt a red card was in order, 5 minutes into the game, when Robert Bochynski put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Brzostowiec fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! Beniamin Piechna hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute Ulryk Frenzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Traian Sucigan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulryk Frenzel got free with Traian Sucigan in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the match, Brzostowiec's Ulryk Frenzel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Traian Sucigan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 21 played minutes Alexandria Team08 got a freekick which was hit by Valeriu Boboc. Lucjan Tokarczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucjan Tokarczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Traian Sucigan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Brzostowiec's Ulryk Frenzel got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Tokarczyk in the 34th minute of play forced Alexandria Team08's goalkeeper Traian Sucigan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogdan Goma blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edward Damazki having to make a save. Eugeniusz Redisz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Traian Sucigan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugeniusz Redisz in the 45th minute of play forced Alexandria Team08's goalkeeper Traian Sucigan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugeniusz Redisz to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucjan Tokarczyk in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Traian Sucigan saved Alexandria Team08 from getting behind. Traian Sucigan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugeniusz Redisz in the 52nd minute of the match. Niculae Corbea charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niculae Corbea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th minute, Niculae Corbea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugeniusz Redisz struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Alexandria Team08's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brzostowiec the free kick. Vintilă Bâru's late challenge caught a Brzostowiec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 90 played minutes Alexandria Team08 got a freekick which was hit by Niculae Corbea. If Eugeniusz Redisz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Brzostowiec fully deserved thier win.
