The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of F.C. YKE:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb:s goal. 4 minutes into the match, Lino Javiero notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of F.C. YKE's Ike Schmeichel. Ike Schmeichel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Iacob Siteavu hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Lino Javiero sped through F.C. YKE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ike Schmeichel. Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Olimpiu Oloieru 16 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Florencio Berbiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Oloieru in the 24th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolae Stanciu got free with Florencio Berbiz in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the game, Lino Javiero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Ike Schmeichel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 41st match minute, Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Berdaitz to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Victorino Ascencio got a free kick in the 43rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Javiero in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ike Schmeichel saved F.C. YKE from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Iacob Siteavu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 51 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in F.C. YKE fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! In the 52nd minute, Lino Javiero made a precise shot to the right of Ike Schmeichel. F.C. YKE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. In the 60thth minute of the game Olimpiu Oloieru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Florencio Berbiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
