After 27 minutes of play, Pagos FC's Vaggelis Giannakidis made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeu Prado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amadeu Prado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manolis Nikologiannis in the 32nd minute of play. If Davi Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 79 played minutes Sport Club Mavericks got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Cean. Sport Club Mavericks's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Charalambos Lelopoulos scored to the left of an out of position Amadeu Prado, making the score, 3-7. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Rogério Cean managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Club Mavericks's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogério Cean was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Avraam Maggioros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ian Marinho during the 88th minute. Pagos FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
