Ali Nabi İlkutay struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Greivin Camacho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DEMİREL.FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Nabi İlkutay got free with Greivin Camacho in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Rafet Ülken fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DEMİREL.FC's protests and gave Rafet Ülken a yellow card for diving instead. Rafet Ülken hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Batı Ufuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yossi Clavo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 28th match minute, DEMİREL.FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emir Başkur to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute of the match, Ali Nabi İlkutay got a very nice opportunity to score, but Greivin Camacho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 32nd minute, Rodolfo Centeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of CD SHETTANI booed when DEMİREL.FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sümer Atlıoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in DEMİREL.FC's zone, Miguel Gomez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batı Ufuk came out of the goal and Miguel Gomez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, CD SHETTANI's Greivin Camacho got control of the ball when Ali Nabi İlkutay tried to sneak it across the goal line. Greivin Camacho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sümer Atlıoğlu in the 41st minute of the match. Batı Ufuk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Gomez went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After the first half CD SHETTANI were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Gomez to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, CD SHETTANI's Otton Guevara seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Otton Guevara the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CD SHETTANI protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Otton Guevara had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in CD SHETTANI fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! CD SHETTANI:s Greivin Camacho showed great skill when he stopped Ali Nabi İlkutay:s penalty. After a defensive mix-up in DEMİREL.FC's zone, Jonny Carballo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batı Ufuk came out of the goal and Jonny Carballo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CD SHETTANI's Victor Villalobos was substituted for Saul Luna. Zikri Sayın's late challenge caught a CD SHETTANI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zikri Sayın helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 played minutes DEMİREL.FC got a freekick which was hit by Zikri Sayın. A collision led to DEMİREL.FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Sümer Atlıoğlu hit a great ball. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CD SHETTANI! CD SHETTANI:s Greivin Camacho showed great skill when he stopped Ali Nabi İlkutay:s penalty. Greivin Camacho came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by DEMİREL.FC's Ali Nabi İlkutay. But to his dismay, Ali Nabi İlkutay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 77th minute Bayram Lütufkâr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greivin Camacho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jonny Carballo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. DEMİREL.FC's Batı Ufuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yossi Clavo in the 88th minute of play. Jonny Elizondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 minutes of play DEMİREL.FC's Rafet Ülken was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to DEMİREL.FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Rafet Ülken hit a great ball. Yossi Clavo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batı Ufuk having to interfere. In the 100th minute Ali Nabi İlkutay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greivin Camacho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
