Spectators: 7665 (Terracing: 5750, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ryan Padovani started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Emil Hajni notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Attard Gunners's Ian Triganza. Ian Triganza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Shaun Cassar Torreggiani's late challenge caught a Crni Tigrovi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shaun Cassar Torreggiani helped the player get up and apologised. Ian Triganza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Hajni, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Crni Tigrovi were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Attard Gunners's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emil Hajni took the corner. The corner ended in Emil Hajni almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Attard Gunners's Ian Triganza did a great save. Crni Tigrovi's Roko Šunić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Xiberras in the 25th minute of play. In the 25th minute, George Xiberras ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roko Šunić was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 27 played minutes Crni Tigrovi got a freekick which was hit by Jadran Lipovšćak. 28 minutes into the game, George Xiberras cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Roko Šunić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by George Xiberras during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. George Xiberras hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The Crni Tigrovi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Attard Gunners were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emil Hajni made a kick off. Attard Gunners's Ian Triganza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Hajni in the 54th minute of play. Angelo Incorvaia kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Dejan Matas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Attard Gunners made a substitution. Michael Fiott replaced Robert Gera. Predrag Drinković hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Clint Cohen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Attard Gunners's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clint Cohen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If George Xiberras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Ryan Padovani took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Roko Šunić to make any attempt to save it. 92 minutes into the game, Emil Hajni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crni Tigrovi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Attard Gunners the free kick.
