Manolis Nikologiannis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Malcolm Kruuse made a huge save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 16 minutes into the game, when Stefanos Sotiriadis put in a rough tackle. 18 minutes into the match, Bengt Hamberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Avraam Maggioros. Pagos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bengt Hamberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manolis Nikologiannis in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Malcolm Kruuse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Malcolm Kruuse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manolis Nikologiannis in the 23rd minute. JKs Talanger's Malcolm Kruuse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save JKs Talanger from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filippos Alexiadis got free with Malcolm Kruuse in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manolis Nikologiannis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Malcolm Kruuse made a huge save. A collision led to JKs Talanger getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ragnar Fribäck hit a great ball. Babbis Kretinos hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

In the 64th match minute, JKs Talanger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ragnar Fribäck to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute Bengt Hamberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avraam Maggioros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viktor Nilsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The supporters of JKs Talanger booed when Pagos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omiros Kalopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. JKs Talanger walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
