Iacob Siteavu kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Tello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Black Rose 1979's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. YKE the free kick. Rigoberto Tello kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. If Rigoberto Tello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ike Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Fagondo in the 13th minute of play. After 15 minutes, Nicolae Boboc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. YKE and the Black Rose 1979 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, F.C. YKE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolae Boboc to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Jacinto Fagondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ike Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ike Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Fagondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes, Iacob Siteavu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. YKE and the Black Rose 1979 players grew even worse after the yellow card. YKE's Ike Schmeichel didn't even have to move. In the 23rd minute, Lucrețiu Culiță got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the game, Nicolae Stanciu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Celedonio Iraitz. Nicolae Stanciu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to F.C. YKE getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Cazimir Puișoru hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Olimpiu Oloieru reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Celedonio Iraitz. The goal made the score 2-0. After a rather tough play, F.C. YKE's Cazimir Puișoru got a free kick in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The supporters of F.C. YKE booed when Black Rose 1979 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorin Tâlvescu during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, F.C. YKE's Dorin Tâlvescu got a free kick in the 53rd minute. A collision led to Black Rose 1979 getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Filiberto Ascencio hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Olimpiu Oloieru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celedonio Iraitz. Black Rose 1979's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olimpiu Oloieru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Filiberto Ascencio hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The supporters of F.C. YKE booed when Black Rose 1979 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Medardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. F.C. YKE's Lucrețiu Culiță couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Black Rose 1979. F.C. YKE's Ike Schmeichel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save F.C. YKE from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucrețiu Culiță in the 75th minute of play forced Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Celedonio Iraitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, F.C. YKE's Olimpiu Oloieru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celedonio Iraitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After some careless play in the Black Rose 1979 defense, Olimpiu Oloieru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celedonio Iraitz. The Black Rose 1979 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celedonio Iraitz should have stopped the shot. F.C. YKE's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
