Amadeu Prado had great luck who in the 3rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Miguel Gomez from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When Miguel Gomez got free in front of the goal in the 3rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Amadeu Prado was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Greivin Camacho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Augusto Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Amadeu Prado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Miguel Gomez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Reynaldo Chaverri kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dráusio Santos in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Greivin Camacho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th match minute, CD SHETTANI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otton Guevara to maneuver through the defense. After 22nd play minutes Miguel Gomez shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Amadeu Prado and just under the crossbar into goal. Sport Club Mavericks's Amadeu Prado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Club Mavericks from getting a goal against them. Greivin Camacho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráusio Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Amadeu Prado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Gomez. After 34 played minutes Sport Club Mavericks got a freekick which was hit by Zézinho Neto. After a rather tough play, CD SHETTANI's Jonny Carballo got a free kick in the 36th minute. 40 minutes into the game, CD SHETTANI's Jonny Elizondo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amadeu Prado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Gomez to make the kick off. Amadeu Prado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonny Carballo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Amadeu Prado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Gomez in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute Pedro Augusto Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greivin Camacho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeu Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonny Carballo in the 69th minute of the match. After 71 played minutes CD SHETTANI got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Matarrita. CD SHETTANI's Alonzo Chavarria was substituted for Miguel Gomez. Alexis Matarrita kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Pedro Augusto Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Club Mavericks's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Augusto Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Greivin Camacho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amadeu Prado came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by CD SHETTANI's Alonzo Chavarria. But to his dismay, Alonzo Chavarria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. After 81 played minutes CD SHETTANI got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Centeno. 85 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goal looked a bit too open when Jonny Carballo came free, but Amadeu Prado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Centeno kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of CD SHETTANI booed when Sport Club Mavericks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredão Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonny Carballo might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amadeu Prado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonny Carballo ran back to his position shaking his head. Sport Club Mavericks's Amadeu Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Chavarria in the 92nd minute of play. After 95 minutes of play, CD SHETTANI's Jonny Elizondo made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeu Prado was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 98th minute, Alonzo Chavarria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amadeu Prado was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-2.
