Greivin Camacho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 10th minute of the match, Alonzo Chavarria got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rüstem Akatay was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jonny Elizondo struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Rüstem Akatay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD SHETTANI. Hikmet Türkoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. CD SHETTANI's Greivin Camacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hikmet Türkoğlu in the 21st minute of play. After 23 played minutes DEMİREL.FC got a freekick which was hit by Selçuk Sağan. After having played for 25 minutes, Miguel Gomez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD SHETTANI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Gomez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Jonny Elizondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD SHETTANI's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonny Elizondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rüstem Akatay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Hikmet Türkoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DEMİREL.FC's protests and gave Hikmet Türkoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Hikmet Türkoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner went over the outstretched arms of CD SHETTANI's goalie and right to Emir Başkur. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. CD SHETTANI's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Greivin Camacho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zikri Sayın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alonzo Chavarria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rüstem Akatay having to interfere. After the first half DEMİREL.FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Gomez to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to DEMİREL.FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Mehmet Tekinay hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Hikmet Türkoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rüstem Akatay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonny Elizondo in the 66th minute of play. Jonny Elizondo charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonny Elizondo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Greivin Camacho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bayram Lütufkâr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rüstem Akatay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonny Elizondo in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute of the match CD SHETTANI got a corner. DEMİREL.FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabio Osorio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zikri Sayın hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Greivin Camacho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zikri Sayın in the 88th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched DEMİREL.FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
